35th Anniversary of the closure of the Mid-Hants Railway in 1973

Allsorts Motor Club provided the classic cars on static display at Alresford Station on Saturday 2nd February 2008 to commemorate the closure of the Mid Hants Railway. Steam and Diesel ran on the line and members enjoyed the opportunity to travel on the trains from Alresford to Alton during the day.
Finely Tuned end to the Twelve Days of Christmas
A group of motoring enthusiasts from the Allsorts Motor Club enjoyed their Annual Cobweb Run on a drive out from Alresford to North Waltham, in fine winter sunshine, through the lanes of the beautiful North Hampshire countryside, on Sunday, 6th January 2008.
Several hardy souls braved the elements and travelled with the “top” down, but soon warmed up over a very welcome lunch stop at The Fox at North Waltham.
Cars of all types and ages took part, including a 1901 Adler (below), 1904 Rover, classic 60's Triumph Herald and Vitesse, MG's, and a Daimler
